Call for Papers
The 10th International Conference on Optimization and Control with Applications (10th ICOTA-2016)
http://iom.num.edu.mn/icota2016/
23-26 July 2016, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

The Tenth International Conference on Optimization Techniques and Applications will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia during 23-26 July, 2016. This conference series is known as the ICOTA conference series. It is an official conference series of Pacific Optimization Research Activity Group, which we call POP.
Due to the importance of optimization in a wide range of disciplines from engineering to economics, the First and Second ICOTA conferences were held at National University of Singapore, Singapore in 1987 and 1992, respectively. After which, ICOTA has become an important conference series run by its steering committee. The third ICOTA conference was held in Chengdu, China in 1995, and the fourth ICOTA was held in Perth, Australia in 1998. The fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth ICOTA were held, respectively, in Hong Kong, China in 2001, Ballarat, Australia in 2004, and Kobe, Japan in 2007, Shanghai, China in 2010, Taipei, Taiwan in 2013.
As a continuation of the ICOTA series, the goal of the 10th ICOTA is to provide an international forum for scientists, engineers, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and approaches, to present research findings and state-of-the-art solutions, to share experiences on potentials and limits, and to open new avenues of research and developments, on all issues and topics related to optimization and its applications.
Prospective speakers should submit an abstract or extended abstract or full paper (up to 6 pages) through the EasyChair online system located at conference submission website:
http://iom.num.edu.mn/icota2016/
All abstracts must use the conference Latex class file: 10th ICOTA Latex template(info).
The submission period runs from 1 February, 2016 to 31 May, 2016.
All received manuscripts will be peered reviewed. After the conference, the authors are encouraged to revise and expand their papers to full papers, and then submit them to appropriate special issues of the following journals dedicated to this conference for consideration for publication.
1. Optimization Letters – Springer (http://link.springer.com/journal/11590)
2. Pacific Journal of Optimization (http://www.ybook.co.jp/pjo.html)
3. Numerical Algebra, Control and Optimization (http://aimsciences.org/journals/home.jsp?journalID=22)
4. Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization (http://aimsciences.org/journals/home.jsp?journalID=5)
5. Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems - Springer (http://www.springer.com/mathematics/journal/12591)
6. Cogent Mathematics (http://cogentoa.tandfonline.com/journal/oama20)
Further details on the submission of papers to these special issues will be provided in the subsequent announcement.
All submitted papers will be subject to the same rigorous reviewing process as if they were submitted to these journals as regular papers.
For anyone who wishes to organise a special session for the Conference, please write to Dr. Changzhi Wu (C.Wu@exchange.curtin.edu.au) cc to Dr. Changjun Yu (yuchangjun@126.com), by 30 March, 2016 to inform him the title of the session and the estimate number of potential participants. They are the Conference Secretaries. Each special session could invite an invited speaker for the special session. However, this is optional. The presentation of the invited speaker of a special session is 30 minutes. The presentation time for each of the other participants and the contributed talks is expected to be 20 minutes. These numbers could be adjusted later when more accurate registration information is available.
