Paper Submission and Publication

KSS2016 will accept various contributions, which should be written in right English.

- Full-Length Papers:

Should not exceed 15 pages including abstract, figures and references.

Please include a 150 word abstract and 3-6 keywords best describing the paper.

Submissions should be formatted according to the guidelines of Lecture Notes in Computer Science at Springer-Verlag. Author instructions can be downloaded at

 Please submit your full-length paper as a PDF through the Easy Chair system:

 Accepted full-length papers will be published by Springer on the series Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS).

 - Abstracts and Posters:

 Please submit one A4-sized 2-3 page description of your research or practice to kss2016@konan-u.ac.jp.

 Abstract and poster contributions will be included in one conference brochure provided to all conference participants in print. This item is only for those who do not submit the full-length paper but still want to attend KSS2016.

 

Some selected papers will be recommended to the following SCI journal based on authors' desires and review comments, and on-site presentation quality:

Other journals are being contacted. KSS2016 organizers do not guarantee the final acceptance by those journals as paper extension & modification and journal re-review will be under the respective journal standards.

 July 24: Deadline for Full-Length Paper (less than 15 pages) submission

 August 18: Notification of acceptance for Full-Length Papers

 August 26: Paper registration

 August 28: Final version of accepted Full-Length Papers;

  

(Each full-length paper needs to pay for formal KSS2016 proceedings as one Springer-Verlag CCIS volume. Only registered authors will be provided the formal invitation letter by local host)

 September 4: Deadline for Abstracts and Posters

 September 9: Notification of acceptance for Abstracts and Posters

 November 4-6: KSS2016 convening

 

Note: KSS2016 registration means participation registration for all KSS2016 activities during Nov. 4-6, 2016.
